Chef Janon Bourgeois, graduated with honors from Oregon Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon.  Chef Janon went immediately to work in professional kitchens as well as trained as a butcher for New Seasons Market, focusing on whole animal utilization.  Since 2012, Chef Janon has owned and operated Simmer Down Catering, specializing in southern comfort meets Pacific Northwest farmer's market cuisine.

Chef Janon completed her professional clown training in 1994 and has been entertaining at events and children's parties ever since.
